Clos La Coutale Cahors

Clos La Coutale is made from Malbec and Merlot.
The average yield of 45hl allows good maturity and consistent quality over the years.
Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled vats; regular punching down allows good extraction of aromas and fruit.
Clos La Coutale is then aged in barrels and wooden vats for a year in order to obtain a good balance between tannins and fruit.

Heaps of bramble fruit, with blackberry and cranberry followed by subtle vanilla, ripe plum and earthy undertones. A delicious red wine from this small region bordering Bordeaux in the South of France.
